CIIT signs MoU with University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq

The first MoU with an Arab university was signed on 9th January, 2012 by CIIT with University of Technology, Baghdad for mutual cooperation in the fields of Science, Engineering and Technology. The signing ceremony was held at CIIT during the visit of Prof. Ahmed Moosa from University of Technology, Baghdad. The Rector CIIT, Dr. S. M. Junaid Zaidi graced the ceremony and said in his remarks that CIIT will provide all possible support to the Iraqi nation for building up of its education sector. Earlier during the visit, Prof. Moosa met the officials of International Liaison Office and gave presentation about University of Technology, Baghdad and expresses his views about higher education system in Iraq. He also informed about the extreme challenges Iraq was undergoing is this transition period. Subsequently, Syed Farooq, Advisor (TFHP) gave a brief introduction about CIIT. The meeting ended with the exchange of souvenirs and vote of thanks.
