Rules and regulations for Students

  1. Display of ID cards at all times and every where is compulsory. In case of violation, fine amounting to Rs 200 will be imposed.
  2. CUI Islamabad is No Smoking Zone; Smoking is not allowed except allocated places in the campus. Fine to be imposed in case of violation is Rs 200.
  3. Foot-printing and any type of comments on walls, furniture and fixtures will be deemed as a grave offence. Fine to be imposed in case of violation is Rs 200.
  4. Violation of dress-code means wearing jeans, joggers, not wearing neck tie or shalwar Qameez without waist coat or coat will be considered as a severe violation of the rules. Fine to be imposed in case of violation is Rs 500.
  5. The use of cell phone camera within campus is not allowed without prior permission of administration. Fine to be imposed in case of violation will be Rs 500 and set will also be confiscated.
  6. Any type of verbal abuse or physical clash with anyone within campus will be reckoned as gross misconduct. Minimum Fine to be imposed in case of any incident will be Rs 1000. Depending on the nature and severity of the incident, case may be referred to management for necessary action that may result in expulsion of the guilty persons.
  7. Any type of damage caused to CUI furniture and fixtures will be regarded as an offence. Fine imposed in this case will be Rs 500. Moreover, the violator will be liable to pay the damages.
  8. Any type of comments on notices issued by the management placed anywhere in the campus will be liable to fine of Rs 500.
  9. Any type of littering anywhere in the campus is unacceptable and will amount to an offence. Fine to be imposed in this case will be Rs 200.
  10. Any type of loose-talk with anyone within campus will be reckoned as a misconduct. Fine to be imposed in case of violation is Rs 200.

Note:

  • The amount of the fine will be deposited within five days. The time will start from the day, the fine has been imposed.
  • For depositing fine, the students will be required to get a Challan Form from accounts office and will deposit the amount in bank.

Sports

The importance of sports in the life of a student is invaluable. It plays a vital role in moulding students’ life and developing human personality. Sports not only teach to maintain the physical stamina, but also empower students with obedience, discipline, the determination to win, will power, etc. Therefore, sports along with the academic results are essential for the mental, moral and physical development of the students. Sports facility is available at all CUI campuses for both male and female students. Following sports are played at CUI:

International Students

International Students

International Admissions Unit (IAU) has been setup in International Office, to facilitate International Students. IAU provides all facilities and is a ‘home away from home’. IAU is a first point of contact for all possible assistance and support to international students before and during their studies at CUI, Pakistan.

International students are the central point of focus of its internationalization policy and it welcomes international students from across the world. In order to attract international students and to provide opportunities to get quality higher education, CUI offers scholarships to various foreign governments and organizations to enable their nominees to study at CUI. International students are enrolled in different graduate and undergraduate degree programs. Currently more than 400 International Students from 18 countries are registered at various campuses of CUI.
